Chris Onthank, a specialist in animal behavior and a dog expert, founded the company in 2006 with the aim of providing the pet industry with innovative and technologically superior products that can alleviate the stress associated with pet ownership.

Is the Repelz-It™ nano-protection animal-friendly? In the Repelz-It™ process, the nanostructure is embedded into the fibers of the Nano bed textiles. The textiles are non-toxic, species-appropriate, chlorine-free bleached, and consumer and environmentally friendly. The lotus fabric is free of PFOA and PFOS, which are presumed carcinogens.
The Repelz-It™ nanoprotection is currently the only nanotechnology on the market without PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and without PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonate), two carcinogenic substances.
